Rolls-Royce keyboard

Perfection in ergonomics closest. Reduces repetitive strain injuries by separating the keyholes about shoulder-width apart, opening the chest and slightly straightening the shoulders, eliminating the need to bring the two wrists together that tilt towards the fetal position. The space bar takes some getting used to, and the Enter, Ctrl, Alt, Del and Backspace keys have been moved to the thumbs. The keyboard already has built-in mode switching keys that allow you to switch from DVORAK to QWERTZ on the fly with two keystrokes. The keys themselves are recessed in height so they are never out of reach of your fingers. These ergonomic indentations and the distance they span are the core innovations that make the Advantage the best and only example I've seen in the keyboard market in over 20 years. Overall, the keyboard is made of durable material and solid construction; although only time will tell. The only improvement I can think of is that the keyboard still limits the user to pronation. As the keyholes open the finger and move into 3D space, the kinesthetic link or kinetic chain ends at the wrist. The keyboard's design encourages the wrist to rest on the base of the board, which can lead to oblique wrist extension, which when extended is a precise movement that pinches the median nerve and leads to carpal tunnel syndrome. This example is of course based on the height of the keyboard relative to the user's torso, but since most people place the keyboard below shoulder height, the hand is forced to be horizontally parallel to the floor to maintain contact with the keys. ; which in turn, due to kinaesthetics, affect the rest of the chain, pulling the elbows and further up, stretching the shoulder cuff, cumulatively penetrating the upper body and generally resulting in what is generally considered poor posture. Of course, it's still much better than a regular keyboard. In any case, without freeing the keyboard from the 2-D plane into 3-D space, I can't think of a problem with the horizontal hand that began to deform the keyholes, but did not end. However, the logical conclusion and implementation of this train of thought will result in either a trunk brace or an elliptical "key cave" that will completely redefine human-computer I/O as we know it. tightly spaced for broad shoulders - certainly better than a regular keyboard, but it would be nice if the keyholes were adjustable in width.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Insecure
