I don't know whether to call his company a joke or not because I'm not laughing. Whenever I build a machine or have my machine with everything I want, I take out the drive and make a clone in case the HDD fails, even on an SSD. I only made three clones on this piece of junk and it stopped reading one of the discs. I've spoken to their tech support twice, they don't have much knowledge, I guess not as much as is required for this equipment. They are based in London and Canada but are said to have a warehouse in the US. So they wanted to replace mine under warranty, but if I wanted expedited shipping, who knows what that means, I had to pay $70 upfront and the cost of the unit. Then when they returned my defective unit they refunded the cost of the unit but not the shipping. I spent many, many hours trying to figure out what was wrong with these discs, which were brand new Western Digital discs. After all the troubleshooting with the software everything turned out to be fine and I tried to check and see the various docking bays on this unit and found that the rear one wasn't reading the discs properly, what to all this led . I had the Unitec the day after I ordered it from Revain for just over $30. I put in two exactly the same discs and started cloning on the first try, they look the same but are aluminum and seem to work fine. So I have money for their junkie docking and cloning machine and many hours of hard drive diagnostics that had no problems but their support tried to blame. Simply terrible customer service. I don't know of any other company that wouldn't ship it right away and even reclaim an old or broken used one. So save some money and get the above, you'll be glad it's working great so far. Given that the hard drive connectors are plastic, I don't think any of these units for sale will last very long. But it saves you the headache of having a good backup hard drive. So if you only have one good clone of this, you'll get your money's worth. I just don't think this company was easy or customer centric. I know very well that they wasted a lot of time.
