Best Value Big Boy Gimbal vs Weebil S vs Ronin S

The AirCross 2 stands out and offers the best price in my opinion compared to the competition including Weebil S, Ronin S, Ronin SC and others. I recently upgraded from my smaller APS-C cameras to the much larger Fuji XH1. This camera is heavy and awkward to balance on smaller gimbals. Don't even think about trying a battery grip or larger lenses. I wish I had the smaller form factor and weight of my older cameras, but from the looks of it the XH1 now needs a much more powerful gimbal to support and carry it. I have a smaller Crane M2 for my smaller cameras and I love its compact size. That. Unfortunately, it's not nearly as compact, easy to pack up or set up. I've also used several of the competing stabilizers mentioned earlier, so my rating is based on comparison. I've added some photos showing a size comparison with my M2 and mini monopod and a ruler. - Smooth auto focus. One of the most important, if not the most important, thing to consider when working with a gimbal is the consistency of camera movements across different applications. Panning, running, walking, flipping are the things I use it for the most, and it does it all very well, with minimal jerking, jerking, or jumping. Your gimbal is tilted slightly forward to make the most of your vertical balance. Pro - Lightweight - Despite being relatively large, it's still fairly light. I filmed with it for several hours without any complaints. Pro - Battery life / charging speed - Charges fast and lasts long on a single charge - Thanks for enabling USB-C charging - Thanks for enabling a hot-swap battery system - Thanks for including easy camera charging into the Pro - Application/Modes - Without going into too much detail, the most important thing is that the app is reliable, connects quickly and has several useful modes to get creative shots with the Pro - VALUE! - At the current price of 400, it offers the best payload/feature ratio. Competing suspensions can't really keep up in the weight class. Cons - size / portability. Coming from the smaller Crane M2, I'm missing a compact gimbal that would easily fit in my camera bag. Due to its construction, it remains long even with the tripod legs removed. Even with the gimbal's entire axis blocked, it's still very wide, which for me is the hardest part of its packaging. Unfortunately, this means I have to pack it in a hard case and it doesn't fit. in my pocket with ease. Con - Interface Menu / Quirks - Using gimbal modes, menus and dials just isn't very intuitive to me. Compared to the Crane M2, which I didn't have to read any manuals or videos to learn, the Air Cross is pretty confusing when it comes to using and changing settings on the fly. Cons - Grip build - especially compared to the Weebil S which has a grip that can be adjusted at 2 points so you can use it upside down or otherwise easier, I wish the AirCross could do the same. All in all a really good gimbal that can hold large cameras with large lenses relatively easily. . Some quirks and issues, mostly minor, but worth the value and ease of use.
