We bought 2 of these from the same seller, boxes and bulbs look the same but are not! The first one we bought only works with music, which I think it should, and that's fine. When we first used it, it seemed to have great patterns. On the second charge, the patterns seem very simple, but they still work. The SECOND only cycles through a series of patterns and is not very sensitive to music. It changes slightly when placed next to a speaker. I removed the clear dome from both lights. The more noise-sensitive light, which only works with music, has a green circuit board and a microphone inside that's twice the size of the second light, which isn't as sensitive. The second light has a white panel inside and is slightly different.
