This backpack suits me well for performing landscape photography where I'm out for any length of time up to a full day. I originally used the 36L version as I wanted to have 2 DSLRs with lenses attached at the ready. The 36L works great for that but it's a lot to haul for a full day of hiking and I found I was rarely using the telephoto setup. Prompted by my switch to mirrorless I rethought what I should carry for a day hike and selected Mindshift's 18L version of the Backlight. With it I can carry my Z7 with the 14/30 lense attached plus the 24/70, a 70/200, an FTZ adaptor, a set of filters, remote trigger, spare batteries and memory card, a pair of 32oz water bottles, a small tripod, plus miscellaneous items & snacks. I can carry a full sized tripod on the backpack but only do so for shorter trips. I've been using the backpack for 6 months now and don't see any wear yet.
