Shouldn't worry about the crest but oh well. I love Bossman products and this one did not disappoint. He does exactly what he has to do. It does what it's supposed to do. I've seen reviews that it doesn't smell like wood. I didn't buy it to smell it, so I didn't care. Seriously, if you want, buy a candle. I was very pleased with the leather case - shocking. It's sewn wide enough that if you pinch it, you can stick your short fingers in to pull it out. With complete ease. Not to mention that this is a very good case. The comb itself does exactly what I need and I am very happy with the result. I was shocked that the more intense brush was effective for me, so I actually use both sides. I've actually seen it take on a distinct color after use, I don't see that. Mine arrived very dark (much darker than the photos) and I doubt it will end up with a unique color. But I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to others. Just a note: It's thinner than I thought it would be and easily fits in a back pocket.
