This skirt was wonderful. My daughter loves tossing and turning at recess and this is a much more modest option than most shorts. The length is great! I will say she is 9 years old and has a very average slim build and we scaled up to 14/16. I booked 10/12 and it was cozier with no room to grow. The 14/16 was more comfortable for her and gave her some room to grow without looking too big.
