This backpack is the perfect size for what I wanted and looks great! But it smells so good! It smells of old grease and mothballs and that smell fills the whole room. I've tried a deodorant that's supposed to remove pet odors from furniture and carpets and let it air dry - no effect. I washed it in the washing machine (it held up great!) and let it dry in the sun - it still smells. I rewashed it in vinegar (instead of washing powder) and let it air dry again; without change. I sprayed it with a mixture of vinegar and water and let it air dry again. It still smells awful! I am so disappointed. It was perfect in every other way, but I can't get over the smell.
