As you can see in pic 1 simple instructions pic 2 3 light switch options pic 3 shows the light dimming control pic 4 shows charge indicators when all 4 stop flashing it is fully charged changes it the color not. Next to it is a light sensor. In photo 5 my closet is on the left with the light off, in photo 6 the light is on with a dimmer suitable for going to the toilet at night, in photo 7 the light is on at full brightness simply by turning the knob shown in fig 3. Fig. 8 - light in the kitchen under the cabinet, Fig. 9 - dim light and fig. 10 - bright light. It's so nice to have the choice based on your usage at the moment. It has a magnetic strip on the back that can be permanently attached to the surface and you can remove the charging light from it. or in my case the cabinets are metal so the strip can be attached to the back of the light fixture and attached to another metal location. Very beautiful, excellent quality.
