Review on Rafaella Women'S Lightweight Satin Twill Ankle Dress Pants (Sizes 4-16) by Sergio Guardado

Love 'em for the following reasons:- Tailored seams going down the center back of each leg, starting at the waist and running through the welt pockets- Nice fabric. They seem like a firm matte sateen finish, but not a twill (diagonal) weave as claimed. The blend is good with a bit of natural fiber (cotton), a bit of polyester and a bit of stretch- Good workmanship with satin pocket lining, satin interior zipper facings, wide elastic self-lining the waistband and double hook and bar closure for a firm, smoothing finish- Good cut. At first they seemed a bit baggy in the hips but I find the three curvy pants from Rafaella I have tried are pressed, folded and packaged in a way that makes the hips jut out. After a bit of ironing the hips relaxed and look great on my 41" bottom. They are roomy in the bum, very comfortable in the waist and I might have been able to size down to a 6 instead of getting my usual 8. But this size offers me a nice professional looking profile without being too tight around the thighs. The drape works well with the fabric and size- Great length for me at 5'2" hits me right at the ankle and is wearable with both flats and heels. The inseam measures 28"In all, excellent quality. Now I have to get a pair in white as I have been looking for the perfect white pants and I think these may be it.
