I needed a decent holder that would easily attach to my iPad and give me a secure grip when using the touchscreen with my other hand. I was disappointed with the stiffness of the grip - it's not firm enough and there's no adjustment. So your thumb really needs to stabilize the iPad or your hand will slip out. The hooks are coated which is nice but they cannot be used with a sheath. How many people do you see using an iPhone or iPad without a case? From them you need to make a handle that will be put on the case with an adjustable tension, like a shoulder strap for a bag. This will get the job done, but watch out for any potential drips. Oops, I thought I'd hold it.
