options (Don't worry if this review seems too long, I've added TLTR (Too Long to Read) below to summarize it all without further ado). I am writing this review after owning this headset for 3 months. I hope everyone reading this finds it useful. I ordered this when my previous headset broke (which I later found out was from the company, who manufactured this model, designed and guaranteed). This headset surprised me the most when I first opened it. Let's start with a massive amount of bass. Shots are more like shots from a gun. The music I listen to has a much broader basis. My old headset might not have had much more bass than headphones, but this headset is pretty good for its bass. There are even settings to boost the bass! However, I sincerely wish there were software options to reduce the bass, as sometimes it's too much and your normal use may seem too loud or cause ear pain. It might be possible to turn down the bass in some games, but I wish it could be done with a headset. The sound quality I found (probably because of the bass), it was just great. Music that I once thought was the normal norm has become tearful and chilled. The games couldn't have sounded better. The noise cancellation is insane and frankly too much for me. It's situational, but my family has to yell a little louder to invite me to dinner. However, if you need noise cancellation, this headset is the best for it! It's like entering a portal, but for your ears every time you put them on! The outside world ceases to exist briefly and your games come to life with a whole new level of immersion. Due to the tight fit of this headset on the headphones, it is said that your ears get warm, as the heat often has nowhere to escape from these almost airy seals. But that's the reason why razer offers coolant options at a higher price which, frankly, it fits well. The headset I had before had 3 customizable buttons on the side, as well as an auto-mute mic (backlit so you know when it's muted) that mutes when you pick it up. It doesn't have both. You need to mute the mic here and that's fine. As for the mic, it's amazing quality, too good for me to be honest. Instead of having a radius that picks up less sound as you walk further, it seems to have a set radius where it picks up sound too well before having a sort of "wall" where it can barely pick up sound . Said radius is quite big, so even removing the mic from my face still lifts me up. This is good for obvious reasons. but a bit useless if it picks up EVERY sound you make. Yes, you can individually lower the level/sensitivity in your computer's microphone settings as well as in the software, and finding the right levels isn't difficult, but it's too much to start with. However, what really motivated me to write this review, and why I said photos are included, is this headset's main (or possibly secondary, depending on intended use) design flaw: the plastic "band" that wraps around Your head isn't very well reinforced, especially the parts above where the pillow and "side plastic" meet. it's not a joint just a round piece of plastic. I used to take the headset off by moving my ears away from me and expanding the headset, than another headset I've dealt with handled it just fine. Although this headset is not. The parts I described on both sides are delicate and after only 3 months one of them broke and failed. I had to reinforce it with vinyl tape and a thin piece of metal to give it the right shape, but no matter what, it broke. I have a feeling this can be worked on, although I suggest that as long as you are a buyer, YOU make sure you remove this headset by twisting it backwards to take it out from the back, or twisting it forwards and remove it this way. Judging by how long mine lasted Separating your ears from your head proved to be a watershed for design flaws. There is nothing wrong with this headset as every technology has its problems like game bugs, just make sure you take good care of it. TLTR: Sound quality, noise reduction, bass, microphone in everything work clearly. Your ears can get hot, but this isn't the right ball. The only real issue is the physical stress of the whole structure.
