Review on 3 Piece Oversize Reversible Bedspread Coverlet Bedding by Wendy Dorea

I wanted a duvet or duvet that would be good for the summer months. We have a couple of 100% cotton quilts that we bought decades ago that we really like but are starting to wear out. New ones now cost over $300 (for real quilts) and I didn't want to spend that on our guest bed. I bought 5 other "quilts". Covers that pretend to be quilts but are really just two large pieces of fabric with lots of stitching to make them look like quilts. All of them are unfortunately quite rigid. (I have different brands from different years.) Some are over 5 years old, washed dozens of times and still uncomfortable. So I decided to risk this one with great reviews and no slam. I usually only buy cotton for my bed. I have to say that I am very happy with this "quilt". It's very soft, much nicer in texture than any cotton fabrics I have, and not stiff at all. I washed it and hung it on a line to dry and it's still very soft, didn't shrink and came out completely wrinkle free. I've slept with it a couple of times myself on a test basis and found that it had a sheet underneath it and the AC was set to 76 during the summer months.
