Sunscreen: (KEY INGREDIENTS) Avobenzone works in the same way as Oxybenzone. It penetrates the skin and is broken down by light when exposed to the sun. (Chemical sunscreens are absorbed by the skin) Octocrylene is a synthetic UV absorber and SPF booster. It can cause allergic reactions in people with sensitive skin and has been shown to bioaccumulate in the body. Oh, and octisalat which is ALSO bad for coral reefs! lungs of our ocean. As a better alternative, I recommend Australian Gold sunscreen. Better for you and the environment! (Physical sunscreens are barriers on the skin)
