Before you decided on this backup system, you looked at many options. We first mounted one on the back of the truck so we could see the hitch. The camera mounts placed it too close and the antenna was mostly pointing down. We had to modify additional mounts to make it work so we could see the hitch. When finished it worked great with a very sharp image. The second rear view was installed on our 34ft toy dump truck. We installed and nothing showed up in the viewer. We removed it and installed a power supply to ensure it could sync. The camera then moved from the back of the truck to the back of the van. It stopped being transmitted to the viewer before we got the 34ft frame. A total of about 50 feet is required. Now you need to look for a booster. A very expensive camera system that only needs to be purchased for use. We haven't installed the side cameras yet as we need the rear camera first. Disappointed and not recommended.
