I ordered a size I would normally get from the store but it didn't work out. I ordered a size larger and it was fine. I got lots of compliments on my wedding day in this dress. My bridesmaid wore dresses from this same designer in different colors and styles. The material is thin and will show shapewear if it has hooks and clasp. It has to be smooth if you need to wear it. Several young ladies were tall so the dress lenght was fine. A few of the shorter ones had on heels or got the dresses hemmed.
