It is very practical and I think it will be good for traveling. The downside is using batteries compared to using a vacuum hose, the air comes out much slower and you also need their bags to use this handheld vacuum where other vacuum bags are interchangeable, you just need your vacuum. So a plus is good for traveling and packing clothes in a suitcase, takes longer to deflate due to batteries and may not be interchangeable with other bags you would need to buy from them.
