Review on Arcade Womens Elastic Stretch Belts Men's Accessories by David Berry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought it for mountain biking and now use it for everything

I bought this tape to wrap my bike and go long distance mountain biking. I wear technical shorts for this type of riding, but my previous strap always felt like the wrong piece of my gear. I use Fjällräven canvas straps which are great but if I sweat all day the buckles rust over time. Also, the strap itself is heavy and gets even heavier if it's wet all day. This has never been a big problem. But since committing to riding steel hardtails, which aren't lightweight, I've started finding small ways to shed weight, tweak the kit, and stick with high-tech materials that don't tolerate drag. Well, this belt did it. At first it struck me as fake as it's basically just a piece of elastic and a very thin little buckle. But after trying a few other sport straps on the Revain, I realized the Arcade really hit the mark. Its strength lies in how insignificant it feels in your hand. It really weighs almost nothing, you forget you're wearing it and it's comfortable. If it was $10 cheaper and in more colors I would probably buy a few. $30 is a lot for what it is, but it's exactly what I needed and is now an essential part of my travel and hiking gear.
