Firmly. Handle damaged when removed from case. Be sure to stretch the holder before use.
This sleeve may be too tight for a wider grip and may damage the grip if you don't stretch it first. I inserted my Pelikan R400 (not without some pressure) into the sleeve and wedged it in place. When I tried to pull it out, the top of the lid and the clip broke off. I was able to superglue the cap together, but not perfectly, and I can no longer rely on the integrity of the clip. A shabby fifty-dollar ballpoint pen. I originally wanted to return it, but I'll see how it will be after the skin has been stretched.
