There's only one name for foul-weather gear that marine professionals can count on. and that name is Grundens. These rain trousers fit perfectly over my work clothes. The length is correct and there is a heavy flexible belt at the waist. The ankle zip opens wide enough to easily leave my work boots on. and fasten it at the bottom with a Velcro strip. This particular Grundens line can be considered a "medium" line, not as heavy as their rubberized Hercules line. but heavier than their light-weather line. Perfect for my boat work. probably not heavy enough for commercial fishermen. whose standard is Hercules. Outdoor Gear is a fantastic seller.
