I had high hopes for the product after reading the reviews not only on Revain but also on several independent websites listing the 'Top 10' boogie boards. Durability was one of the qualities they were praised for. Unfortunately, this couldn't be further from the truth. A bit of history. Our entire family is enthusiastic experienced water sports enthusiasts. The boards were for my two sons aged 8 and 6 weighing 70 and 50 pounds and for my wife who weighs 130 pounds. Everything is well within the acceptable weight range for these boards. We live on the beach and are all experienced surfers, windsurfers, kiteboarders and boogieboarders. Our gear maintenance is excellent, all our gear is fresh water washed and kept out of the elements including our boogie boards so gear maintenance is a breeze. In terms of usage, we all know how to ride boogie boards properly and not abuse them in any way while riding them the way they are intended. The boards were bought in May, and the first one started falling apart in June. I figured it was just bad luck so I glued it down with the non-toxic epoxy we use on some of our other foam products. It took another season. Mid July, in less than 2 months of use, ALL the boards started falling apart. They crumpled under the pressure (which should never happen to a 70-pound baby). I tried to contact the seller to give him the first opportunity to answer this dilemma but there is no contact for him. Unfortunately, this is my only course of action. I'm warning anyone thinking of buying these boards, so make no mistake, don't. We are a well educated water sports family using sports equipment for many different water sports and these boards are the worst we have. encountered . I have attached photos for your reference. If you're looking for a disposable board you might want to consider these boards, but at their price they should last over a month and a half.
