The overall quality of the bag is very good, and the magnetic closure strap is very durable and well designed. However, the bag has one main problem - the central compartment. Between the front and back zipped compartments is a half-sized, non-zipped center compartment, and the only thing that fits in this bag is a few pieces of fabric. You can slip a water bottle in, but that's pretty much all it's good for. The bag is very suitable as a belt bag, but only as a sling. However, if you are looking for a fanny pack or chest pack, go for this one. (Bellroy does not work as a fanny pack)
