I like the design and it seems to cool very well. The USB ports on the front are practical. My biggest complaint is that the controller slots don't charge well and the stand doesn't detect when the controller battery is low. More than once I've tried to play a game only to find the controller's battery is dead despite the green light on the stand. When this first happened I thought I had inserted the controller incorrectly, so I started paying close attention to making sure the connectors were seated snugly in the controller. Despite this, I still see green lights instead of red (indicating charging) and the controller battery is dead. Now I connect my controllers separately via charging cable and haven't had any problems since. This is a big disappointment as I was looking for a cooling and charging stand. Basically I only have one cooling pad.
