Review on C Shaped Inverted Umbrella, Waterproof and Windproof by Karen Mogel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I read all the good/bad reviews before purchasing. and bought

I bought one for myself and one for my wife. starry night and purple flower. I just got them about an hour ago, took them out and opened/closed about 10 times each. taken to the street (sunny day), standing upright on the ground, held in various positions, repacked twice in cases. I'll update this review again when they've been used properly for a while, but that's my first take. Size when closed: you can see inches in Q&A etc. D., but for me the closed size is about average for a stick umbrella. I think it fits in the car next to your seat with no problem. Doesn't fit in a purse or backpack (maybe a backpack if you let it stick out of the box). Almost what I expect from a stick, maybe a bit more compact than average. Open Size: Should keep you dry in most downpours. It's not big, it's not small, it's somewhere in between. I would say more than you would expect from a foldable/packable umbrella but also smaller than what I'm used to from a stick. For one person it will work, for two people it will be difficult to keep both of you dry. However, I think it's a good compromise between a huge canopy and a bulky leghook. Sunscreen: I checked it out today. Does a great job with 2 layers to provide shade from the sun. Time will tell if the UV rays will dry it out or not. My old non-double layer umbrellas aren't even in the same league as you can imagine. Open/Close: Both of my did well with the 10 repetitive open/closes I did. Time will tell if it stays true to quality. There is a moment of tension when opening as the ribs have to flex due to the inverted design, which is a bit stronger than a regular umbrella but has worked well so far. However, they are easy to open and close. Colour/Prints: The prints may not be as bright as you see in the photos unless you have the umbrella turned upside down so that it is exposed to the sunlight. But it looks cute! :D Packing/Repacking: Putting the umbrella back into its case is easy if you follow the right technique. Takes about 10-15 seconds. Simply wrap your arms around the umbrella, starting at the bottom and working your way up (left to right), keeping your hand on top, close the velcro and pull the sleeve over the end with your other hand. All the reviewers who say it's difficult just don't know how to do it. By the way, there is a small strap on the sleeve. I can easily throw it around my back and neck or to wear over my shoulder. Currently 5 stars. I will update again once these umbrellas are used and a little abused.
