Based on the serial number, it appears that they were manufactured in November of 2022. Under the terms of the warranty, you are unable to return the item without the original receipt. I was taken aback when I found out that they had such a short life expectancy; prior to that, the Chinese noname had faithfully served for two years and was still active. I won't be buying JBL products again.
