Cap issues with insulated beverage containers

The first water bottle I ordered had a broken cap. The seller was very accommodating and completed the exchange in a very short time. The second water bottle looked perfect, but inexplicably the lid was still leaking. We keep it for home and don't travel as my daughter loves the Harry Potter and Ravenclaw designs.
