Color mismatch

I always expect the My Little Pony brand to be small (usually long and skinny) so I always go up a size. A bit frustrated that I have the same shirt in 5T and 3T and the blue color is nice and bright on 5T and matte on 3T. I wouldn't worry too much if my kids didn't comment that the colors are different.
