I have a 2 year old lab/pit mix that weighs 168 pounds. I adopted her a year ago and it was a way to teach her some discipline. This dog slipped through 2 collars and snapped/torn SEVEN leashes while walking. (FYI, the comfy Kong leash was by far the most durable leash!) She kept pulling during our walks since she was so interested in walking, and if any dog barked at us, she'd immediately try to run towards us. That. My friend told me about collars with clasps and pins that I didn't even know existed. I tried it out when it arrived last week and their behavior changed immediately. It was already the perfect size for my dog so I didn't have to add/remove tines. It was so easy to put it on my head, buckle it up and attach the Kong leash. All it took was a tug from my dog and she quickly stopped and slowed for me. She also shows no signs of being unwell. I'm no longer afraid of our daily walks and now that she's more cooperative I'm ready to walk long distances! Instead of trudging around the neighborhood laughing at the neighbors, now we really come together as a team. Do yourself and your pup a favor and get this collar!
