, I was looking for an accessory for my EOS R system to take better macro shots. The extension tubes worked perfectly. The macro set is well constructed and easy to use. I was so happy to see that the auto focus works great with the rings. This makes focusing much easier. One of the features of the EOS R is focus assist when autofocus is disabled on the lens. This is a great feature to use for macro photography along with focusing. Because the rings have built-in contacts, the EOS R's focusing system works flawlessly. I tried the rings with my 24-70 MK ii and 100mm macro lens, both of which are EF with an EF-RF adapter, and it felt like I was using a native lens. I also used RF 50mm and that was great too. If you want to make a macro lens, these tubes are perfect. They reduce the close-up limit and extend your focal length range by a few millimeters. So adding an 11mm ring to my 100mm macro makes it 111mm and also allows me to focus closer. I highly recommend giving these rings a chance to take beautiful macro photography. They are affordable and very well built. I love buying accessories to try out with my camera for fun and have been a lot of fun using them. It's great to see more and more companies developing products to use with the new RF mount. I can't wait for new things to come out for the RF system soon.
