Excellent pocket camera

Many have jumped on this model. This new camera has the same really good Fuji CMOS sensor, but it does it don't have the quirky and easily damaged lens problem. It was with me in Europe recently and gave me great photos.I particularly like that it offers some film simulations with black and white. As an old Velvia rapist I used this setting for color and it oversaturated some photos so I think it's better to stick with the Provia setting. And not many P&S cameras offer a wide-angle lens that's equivalent to 25mm, which I really like so I'm not confused by the relatively short range of 25-100mm (the difference between 25 and 28mm is significant) mirrorless camera or larger, but if you are out and walking, this camera gives you great photos that fit in your shirt pocket and offers more options than a camera on a phone, no matter how good they are. (PS: As with any camera, get a spare battery.)

Pros
  • 12.0 MP 2/3" X-Trans II CMOS sensor with phase detection and EXR II processor
Cons
  • Great price
