quite durable but also quite uncomfortable.

The pliers here are top notch, let me tell you. but the multitool must be more. the locking system is a good idea but too awkward and awkward to implement, maybe because of my big hands, maybe simply because it's awkward to push in the lever system they designed. maybe that gets better with wear and less spring tension, but it would be nice to have a slightly longer lever to press or a raised base to put your thumb on. The part that really turns me on is the 1/4 powered tool. When locked in the 90 degree position, it is completely unusable. the dust cover/handle guard rests against it so it cannot be closed for use in this position. You can flip up/open the guard but then you'll need a 1/4 extension to get anything in a real world situation as the guard and pliers stick out in a pretty awkward position. Well if I had a 1/4 extension I have the rest of the sockets too. with a ratchet. It looks like nobody at SOG here actually installed and tried an outlet before settling on this design. I have seen. I mean, they even advertise that it can be "wiped clean," as if it's supposed to be a selling point, but sort of. what do i need that for? It has to be there to protect the steel from rusting, I want it to stay there. It still gets 3 stars because, as I said, it's a really good pair of pliers. but this is a really good pair of pliers with inferior multifunctional properties. and I could pay less money if I just wanted a good pair of pliers.
