Typical carry-on luggage for travel

This is a typical roll-on carry-on luggage for air travel. You can relax knowing your expensive gear is safe with normal hitting and handling, although I doubt there's a case that takes all worries away. The lifetime warranty lets you know Pelican is backing their product, but remember that it only covers damage to the case, not your hardware inside, so insurance is still required. Durable, waterproof, shock absorbing and built like a tank. It accommodates loads of gear with adjustable foam walls to customize it to your liking. You probably won't use all of the supplied delimiters, but that depends on your hardware. The wheels are strong and roll efficiently and the locks are tamper proof and can be used with TSA approved locks. The trolley handle is made of durable ABS plastic and retracts or extends with a structural latch rather than a mechanical one. Whether you need to hand in your camera and lenses or regularly need to hire other people to work on your gear, this is the case for you. However, the protection compared to camera bags has some disadvantages: 1. This case is very heavy even when empty. 2. Latches require extra force to open and close. 3. Wheels are built-in and take up space in the suitcase at the corners. 4. The lid has foam padding but no pockets unless you purchase an additional lid organizer. 5. No external compartments for quick access to small items.
