If you have a Windows OS, do yourself a favor and buy another DAC.

Overview: I bought the SM.SL M100 to complement my near field active desktop monitors. I was very happy to receive the package today 05/10/2019 mainly due to the DSD M100 support with the promise of better audio fidelity from my Qobuz and Tidal subscriptions. hoped. 2) I downloaded the M100 driver from SMSL website and installed the driver; Plugging and unplugging the USB cable connected to the M100 DAC from my 18 month old DELL XPS13 - 9350 64bit laptop - following the instructions in the included "broken" English manual. 3) The driver was not found in the Windows Control Panel under Audio Devices or is corrupt and frankly wasted hours of my time which is too valuable to endure such a poorly designed and executed product. and selling hotspots (wireless routers) and wireless cards in the late 1990s, which is unacceptable for a company like SMSL if you want to thrive in today's world.
