Screen protectors have always been my go-to choice for phones, so they seemed like the obvious first choice when buying a smartwatch. However, due to the fact that the smartwatch is in a much more dangerous place, I wouldn't go that route. Fitting was a hassle as I never managed to get rid of all the air bubbles around the edges and round clocks are not easy to align without a few tries and adjustments. One day I finally aligned them. and to my delight, by removing the bubbles, I learned about another critical disadvantage of smartwatch glass: it breaks very easily. Due to my decently tedious work, the thickness of the tread caught on something in just a few days, causing it to break on a hit that didn't even hit the inserted glass of the watch itself. I ended up working through the whole 3-pack in just under 2 weeks. Fortunately, not everything is so bad. When the screen protector wasn't broken, it looked great and didn't affect the usability of the touchscreen in the slightest. I really only recommend this to those who don't do manual labor on a regular basis, and for those who do I'd recommend a full body cover instead.
