This is a GREAT little pet carrier! I bought two of these, they really are worth every penny! Great buy and the quality isn't bad. I don't understand how anyone can give this place less than 5 stars. It is very easy to assemble, very easy to use. You can open the door on the right or left side. {It will NOT open if you unlock the top two locks with the gray clips to try to open the door and turn the bottom two gray clips to try to open the door} You need the gray plastic clips turn in the right direction they face you. You can see that it is in the open position when you open the door or are ready to close it. The top and bottom of the door fit into a gray open lock. If it doesn't fit there exactly, check to make sure it's level. To lock the door again no matter which side is open. Rotate the gray clip latches toward the inside/center of the metal door, basically a half turn. You hear a soft click. Two large twist locks on either side on the outer center panels, these should not be unlocked for any reason after assembly unless you simply break them to reattach them as supplied to you.
