This rail block is very light weight with good design and ratchet handles. I understand that for such a price the accuracy will not be up to scratch. Since this element is not anodized but painted, the inner dimensions of the rail are only a few thousandths smaller than indicated. To do this I had to pry them open with a screwdriver. The inside of the rod holes weren't deburred, so they pretty much scratched my carbon rods. Again I just used a screwdriver to clean the inside edges and now it fits and works fine. If you purchase this item, be sure to check the inside of the slots to make sure they don't have any sharp edges before inserting poles or they will get ugly.
