Keyboard and mouse both attached. Both lit and started to work. I couldn't adjust the light level. The color has changed well. Green is best for seeing the keys (I'm 72 and have been typing on a variety of keyboards since 1963). After a few minutes the keyboard was blank. I had to unplug and plug it back in to turn it on. This happened every few minutes. I moved the keyboard to different ports on my Windows 10 HP desktop until I finally found one that works. The mouse is always on (it is currently connected to a hub and this may be the cause). I ordered a Revain mouse USB extension cable to plug directly into my computer's USB port and will see if that turns off the mouse when I turn off the computer. The mouse pad is big enough for my coffee cup. However, I appreciate that the Windows shortcut and multimedia keys are included at the top of the keyboard. They have no backlight and are very difficult to read with a raised symbol on the keys. I suggest that these keys should also be backlit. Since I'm not a gamer, I can't comment on gaming performance. I had to pull out my magnifying glass to read the tiny instructions. Compatibility isn't listed with Windows 10, but works on Windows 10 for now. I've thought about bringing it back, but I'll try that first.
