Who doesn't use a phone case?

They are very good for water protection and in that regard I am very satisfied. There are two things that could be better: one applies to everyone and the other can be a problem, but not everyone. First, waterproof. Took mine on vacation and used it in the sea and swimming in cenotes. Been in and under the water for hours and had no water issues. Worked well and gave me confidence that my phone was protected. A+ ease of use. Probably great. Not so much for me. The description lists all suitable phones and my iPhone 11 is on that list. I use Otter Defender like 95% of the population. Doesn't fit the case. That would be on a very thin case, but not a true drop rated case. So I had to take the phone out of the case every time I used it. It was painful as picking up and removing the Otter Defender is not an easy task. Smaller phones work without going through this. "B” Another problem is selfies. Vacation selfies are important, right? If you're using the camera facing you and the flash activates in low light, the clear plastic of this device floods the light, blurring half the picture. I could never get a selfie to work with the flash on. "C-" Overall image quality. This is a difficult question. The thing works, in general I'm satisfied. Remember that you are shooting through a relatively poor "lens". This flexible plastic cover is now part of your lens and that's not surprising as it produces a much softer image than usual. I read many other reviews raving about the excellent picture quality. Please understand that this is not a deal breaker. I take pictures and I blow them up and they just don't last. They're great for documenting fun times. But when you're not in the water, take your phone out of your pocket if you need better shots. It distorts very little and makes the images significantly softer. It may not seem like it but overall I like this protector and will continue to use and recommend it. Just be aware of the limits and work around them. For casual and occasional users, this is an inexpensive and effective way to secure your phone.
