These are excellent cables that do their job very well. The braided look feels very hard-wearing and has proven itself to this day. The ends of the cable are solidly constructed so the cable connection is not the weak point that Apple cables tend to be. Four of my Apple Lightning cables have deteriorated into oblivion, all at this one point of failure. The real metal plugs on the anchor cables fit snugly and have a molded cover that's easy for those of us with big, clumsy fingers to grab and either slide in or pull out of the device. A bonus is the bright red color which makes them easy to spot. any background, except perhaps obviously red. Finally, the 6 foot (2 meters?) length is much more convenient than the shorter ones that come with Apple devices. A reliable product from an intelligent and user-oriented development team.
