I just received the extension. I installed it directly into the shower stall plumbing. Here is my setup: WALL PIPE (behind tiles) ---> EXTENSION ---> S SHOWER STAND ---> RAIN SHOWER. shower cabin. It works out! Thank goodness nothing is leaking, not even the extension tube! I am VERY stingy and give high marks to every product. I reserve 5 stars for really excellent products. What I liked was that they included: a wrench to tighten the pipe and a FULL roll of good teflon tape. I cannot predict the LONG TERM performance of this product. But I'm pleased with it and with their diligence in including the necessary accessories to make the installation a success.
