I have a small general purpose humidifier of about the same size and shape. It sheds a lot more moisture, but more importantly, it feels more reliable despite cheaper parts and is easier to use. As soon as I opened it, I noticed a chip on the plastic part of the water inlet spring. I missed that but then I noticed that after filling when it drained into the tank it didn't go at first, I had to move it a bit and it kept going. Okay, I'm still browsing it and will connect. Well, then it comes down to functionality. Everything is started with a button in front. This button was sometimes so sensitive that I couldn't even move my hand past it without thinking I was pressing it, and then the next time I could press it all the way down and nothing happened. So if it's not responding, out of nowhere it'll pick up a long press and toggle the interior light on and off. I just don't see the point of buying this when there are so many cheap, reliable humidifiers out there. I've only installed it for about 30 minutes and already know that it will most likely come back
