So the traditional 6th Wedding Anniversary gift is iron from what I've seen. So what kind of ironware are you giving away when our stock of cast iron cookware is replenished? I was very excited to find this item and as others have suggested it comes with a little coarse shoeing (quite a plus in my opinion!) and has a classic rustic look. Actually I plan on varnishing it to get the current patina if you like. It's a durable product and the weight exceeds expectations making it strong enough to meet the demands. With comments on the rubber coaster covers, I intend to make a few minor preparatory changes, but this is a beautiful item that I am very happy to give to my beloved wife!
