The bag weighs 1lb 3.4oz and the construction is neat with neat, even stitching. The bag itself is approximately 12 x 12 inches and 4.5 inches deep. There are two interior zippered compartments, 9" x 8.5" and a central 9" x 11". The middle compartment is not attached to the bottom of the bag. The zippers in both compartments work smoothly and have 2.75 inch zippers. The shoulder straps are 20 inches long and non-adjustable. When worn on the shoulder, it stays higher towards the top of the arm, 10 inches from the top of the shoulder. Since the leather is very soft, it adapts to the body and is comfortable to wear. The Kompanero US Cognac genuine leather shoulder bag is a large bag, so it is open at the top. There is a leather strip on the top that holds the bag together with magnets. This is a really attractive and well designed bag perfect for those looking for that style.
