UPDATED 06/10/2020 I have had a belly button piercing for over 20 years. I had to take it out as my belly button was getting red and sore. I have NEVER had a piece of jewelry that has irritated my very old, well healed piercing. I have no known allergy to metals. UPDATED 09/27/2020. As I feared, the metal on the claws is not stainless steel. I bought it on 09/14/2020 and the claws are no longer silver but bronze or copper. And my skin turns green. I still love design. The rod appears to be stainless steel. It is comfortable to wear and does not stick. I'll probably just try to draw the claws because I really like the design. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It's beautiful. I received this purple dragon claw navel jewelry today and I love it. I tried to capture it well in photos but they are darker in photos than they look in real life. If the light shines from behind you can actually see the purple hue. This is a size 14 compared to my previous jewelry. Weighs 4 grams, not heavy for my navel. The upper part can be opened, the lower part cannot. The balls appear to be held securely by the claws. I don't feel any sharp or raised edges. It's comfortable on my skin. Looks like real stainless steel. At the moment I give 5 stars. If my skin starts to irritate or the jewelry starts to fade I will update my review.
