Review on 🎡 Altec Lansing iM9 inMotion Mobile Speaker Dock for iPod (Black): Dynamic Sound On-the-Go! by Kerry Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for mobile massage

Before purchasing this item I've been using SonicImpact portable speakers for iPod for over 4 years (they're finished) so I needed something permanent. , delivered good sound at low to medium volume, was portable, and uses an AC adapter instead of a battery. This portable speaker is perfect.* It's solid, although a bit heavier than I expected* The sound quality is perfect for the volume levels I use (bass, mids and treble are well represented).* I can use the EQ settings easily customize or change playlists without disconnecting your iPod, so playback never pauses.* It runs on batteries or plugs into a wall outlet; The problem I had when looking for a good portable device was that devices that offered good protection seemed to only run on battery power and devices with power adapters weren't powerful enough to carry in my mobile bag pack a massager. I only received this turntable yesterday so will post an updated review in a few months once I've tried it, but for now I'm incredibly happy with my purchase. UPDATE (December 17, 2011): I still love this device and highly recommend it! UPDATE (January 2, 2013): This product will not work with an iPhone 4 or 5. I am using an iPod classic (2nd generation), although I think you can use a mini or nano if it has a 30 pin connection. UPDATE (May 25, 2014): This thing still works like a charm. :)

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Good but not great
