My little one's favorite toy

I have a 17 month old who loves books but few other toys. She plays with her wooden tea set, wooden chickens and eggs, a basket full of balls and everything. I love that she is so interested in books but I was looking for a toy that she really loves and I found it. This simple toy fascinated my daughter. And not for a few minutes or a day, but every single day since it came in the mail. This is a simple toy: four balls, a tower and a hammer. The balls are kept from falling off by rubber O-rings, but the rest of the toy is made of wood. My daughter hates holding on to anything so she's not interested in the hammer yet, but loves pushing the balls through the holes and getting them out when they hit the ground. She replaces them and does it again. Again and again. My older kids also played with this toy and beat the hell out of it. They said they wish there was more for older kids! One thing I noticed is that when the balls are hit with a hammer by my older kids, they have little indentations. (I've attached a close-up photo so you can see.) The paint has not been removed but there are dents on the wooden balls. I am very happy with this toy and would highly recommend it to anyone with young children. The price is amazing too. This is victory, victory. A fun toy at an amazing price.
