Pretty Pleased good for me

I have a stationary/planner addiction and can NEVER find one that is what I want - so I have been playing around with making one. I started off using the variety of notebooks I have, which was OK but decided I should try dot journaling.TLDR: This is a good journal for the price, could there be one better, probably, but for the cost this works well.I got the 8.5x11 because I'd been trying to use something smaller and it just wasn't cutting it for me. I want to track my workout plan & my to-do lists for work & home in the same place vs two planners -- and I track water and would like to do food as well, so too much for small planners unless you use a single page per day or maybe two. Which is a thought for future purchases. The dots in my preference could be a little lighter in shade, they are easy to see and don't really overpower once your design is on, but could still be lighter. Nothing is good enough, right?!? LOLThe page thickness is good. I actually went to Office Depot and almost got a sketch pad, only to notice the weight of the paper was less at $15 than this one. I still would NOT use pens of almost any kind. I love my Papermate felt pens, but I tested on the lined pages and they were just too noticeable for me -- but not awful, just not sure how an entire design might look from the back.I use colored pencils and really found that using the black colored pencil to make the outlines was best vs basic lead. Just had a more put together feel. When I'm done with this book if I still feel like making my own planner is worth it - which the de-stressing factor of dot journaling is nice - I may look into smaller for daily journal, since it's easier to carry around.
