Review on πŸ› Enhance Safety in Tubs, Showers & Other Slippery Areas with SlipX Solutions Adhesive Oval Safety Treads - Customize Your Pattern (21 Pieces, Strong Grip, Gray) by Ryan Eppinger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is what I looked like the last time I slipped and fell in the shower.

Have you ever seen those National Geographic shows where a seal slides off an iceberg and into the sea? This is what I looked like when I slipped and fell in the shower last week. Luckily, I fell in one smooth, flowing motion and only fractured a rib (I'm a 375th fat man, by the way). So far it has worked VERY well. The trick is to clean the bath properly before using it. I sprinkled baking soda on the surface of the tub, then sprayed white vinegar on it to create a "paste" and rubbed it in with a cleaning brush. Then I rinsed the tub, plugged it, and applied 100% isopropyl alcohol. I let it sit for about 20 minutes and then wiped the tub dry with a clean towel. Then I applied Bath Treads. 5 baths and 8 showers later they are still where I put them. TO UPDATE. It's been about 8 months since I installed the bathtub steps and none of them have even started to peel. Between my wife and two children, the bath is used for bathing at least 4-5 nights a week, and wife gets the baths hot enough to cook lobster in for dinner. so they passed the test in my book. UPDATE: The bath feet have been in use for 2 1/2 years and they are still stable. None of them have detached yet. Note: Tired of lobster for dinner.
