Nice paper and nice finish but a bit see through

I bought this paper to cover up some lovely old crumbling vinyl tiles in my rented apartment. I wanted a temporary solution that would be cheap and easy to remove if and when I decide to move. The paper is really good quality and has wool grain ribbing which gives the flooring a nice finishing touch. Since the vinyl tile I had on the floor was originally yellow-green, it shows through the contact paper. If there is any color other than white underneath this paper, it may change the final appearance. If I had to do it all over again I would cover the existing ground with plain white contact paper and layer it on top for a fully opaque finish. That aside this paper layered pretty well, I tried layering it in one section and it helped hide the tile underneath really well. The contact paper also comes off really well and is very easy to peel off and put back on, which was important to me as I didn't want to damage the floor in any way. The paper can tear and stretch if you peel and reapply too many times so I would recommend measuring the area well and making sure you apply the paper once you are sure of the placement and dimensions.
