Received them yesterday and they weren't impressed with the packaging - they weren't at all what I would describe as soft or plush, and the color it was not as rich as shown on the product image. I immediately noticed that the washcloth is not the same terry cloth as the rest of the items but is much thinner and the hand towel is also slightly thinner and less linting than the bath towel. I bought them mainly to give the bathroom a warm fall color that wouldn't clash with the muted aqua walls, so softness isn't the most important factor, although I plan to use them as well. I figured washing would most likely make them softer and fluffier. Knowing these weren't the highest quality towels I washed them separately on a cold/delicate cycle with mild detergent and tumble dried on the lowest setting with just a few dryer balls, no fabric softener as usual. suitable for bath towels. Unfortunately, despite such careful handling, they still have a fair amount of loose threads, as well as some elongated terry loops. And they're SLIGHTLY fluffier than straight out of the box, but not softer - in fact, they feel a little rougher. The color remains more of a very matte milk chocolate with hints of gray than the lovely rich color shown. Also, I took a tape measure for this review and they are all much smaller than the advertised sizes! The washcloth is 11" x 11", not 12" x 12"; the towel is 15 x 25 inches, not 16 x 28 inches; and the bath towel is only 28x50 inches, not 30x54 inches. Another issue: you can see from my photos that the main product image for this set does NOT show the actual set: it's just an enlarged photo of a bath towel with two smaller versions of the same photo placed on top to resemble a hand towel and a washcloth . (Actually, the bath towel decoration has four rows of herringbone, the hand towel has three, and the washcloth has two; the picture shows all three with four rows, which is a giveaway.) I'm pretty sure. such directly misleading and dishonest advertising is illegal. Two pluses for this set: all pieces have a decorative finish on both ends and there was very little lint in the dryer. People who like thinner and rougher towels and don't mind the lack of durability might find them worth the price. But for me it doesn't overcome any of the many flaws enough to give the set more than one star. These are NOT big, plush or soft and definitely not luxury towels and I am very disappointed that so many products are misdescribed and I will be returning them and never buying this brand again.
